What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is based on the concept that we are what we think. That is, our attitude and viewpoint of our selves and our life determines how we perceive and react to events. The premise of this therapy is that if we can change our negative framework into positive pictures then we can visualize our wellness or our success. This positive viewpoint then results in changes in our behavior and how we present ourselves to the world will follow. This is important because with confidence and good attitude we are better able to promote ourselves and direct our lives towards being happy and successful.
